Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0
Provider: Petr Vojtěchovský - Black Cab · Company ID: 88706869 · Pravoúhlá 1666/39 150 00, Praha 5 - Smíchov · blackcabprague@gmail.com · +420775149877

1. General provisions

These Terms & Conditions govern contractual relationships arising from bookings of passenger transport through the Black Cab Prague websites. The customer may be a consumer or a business. The person actually using the transport service is referred to as the passenger.

The contractual relationship is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be contractually limited remain unaffected.

2. Service

The Provider arranges passenger transport, in particular airport and railway station transfers, transfers between specified addresses, hourly chauffeur hire and predefined routes.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the booking details, especially pickup place and time, contact details, number of passengers and flight or train information.

3. Booking and conclusion of the contract

A booking is created through the booking form. Before submitting it, the Customer can review and correct the entered details.

An automated “booking received” message only confirms receipt of the request by the system. The transport contract is concluded when the Provider confirms the booking, in particular by confirmation email.

4. Price

The price is calculated according to the booking parameters, service type, distance, time, vehicle, minimum price, vehicle positioning and any applicable time-based pricing schedule. The price displayed before submission of the booking is decisive.

If the Customer requests a material change to the route, time or scope of service after confirmation, the price may be recalculated accordingly.

5. Deposit and payment

A percentage deposit may be required. Its amount is displayed before completion of the booking. Online card payments may be processed by an external payment service provider.

If the Provider cancels the booking and the Customer does not accept an alternative arrangement, any amount already paid will be refunded.

6. Cancellation by the Customer

If cancelled more than 24 hours before the agreed pickup time, the paid deposit is refunded in full. If cancelled 12 to 24 hours before pickup, up to 50% of the paid deposit may be charged. If cancelled less than 12 hours before pickup or in case of a no-show, the full paid deposit may be retained as a cancellation charge.

Individual cancellation terms expressly accepted before confirmation of a particular booking take precedence.

7. Changes to the booking

Changes to pickup time, addresses, vehicle, passenger count or other material booking details are subject to Provider confirmation. If a change affects the price, the Customer will be informed of the new price.

8. Pickup, waiting and delays

The Passenger should be ready at the agreed pickup location and time. For flights and trains, where correct service details have been supplied, the Provider may adapt the pickup time to the actual arrival according to operational possibilities.

Excessive waiting caused by the Customer may be charged after notice.

9. Vehicle and capacity

The Customer must state the correct number of passengers and take the amount of luggage into account. The Provider may refuse transport exceeding the safe or legally permitted vehicle capacity.

For operational reasons, a comparable or higher category vehicle may be substituted without increasing the price unless the change was requested by the Customer.

10. Passenger obligations

The Passenger must follow the Driver’s safety instructions, use seat belts and behave in a manner that does not endanger the Driver, other persons or the vehicle. Damage caused by a Passenger is the responsibility of the person who caused it.

11. Exceptional circumstances

Travel times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, accidents, road closures, weather or other circumstances outside the Provider’s reasonable control. The Customer should allow an appropriate time margin for journeys connecting to flights, trains or other time-sensitive services.

12. Discount codes and vouchers

Discount codes may only be used under the conditions applicable to the specific code. Airport return vouchers may be restricted to a subsequent journey from or to an airport and, where applicable, to the opposite direction of the original booking.

13. Complaints and consumer disputes

Complaints may be submitted to the Provider using the contact details shown on this page. Consumers may, where applicable, use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority for alternative dispute resolution if a dispute cannot be resolved directly.

14. Personal data

Personal data is processed for booking acceptance and performance, customer communication, legal obligations and other purposes described in the privacy policy. Data necessary to perform the transport may be shared with the assigned driver or carrier to the extent required.

15. Final provisions

The version of these Terms & Conditions in force at the time the booking is created applies to that booking. The Provider may reasonably amend these Terms & Conditions for future bookings.

Applies to bookings created from the publication of this version.
